It is on the US National Register of Historic Places and member of Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The story behind the stop

A ghost tour is a storytelling or investigation experience; its availability and format can change. Read the source account ↗

Plan your visit

Arrange an authorized visit before traveling. Confirm the date, meeting point, minimum age, accessibility, and photography rules with the operator. Some experiences are seasonal or limited to scheduled groups.

Ask about transport, weather cancellations, stairs, and which parts of the vessel or lighthouse are accessible. A coastal viewpoint does not imply permission to enter the structure.
